Renowned actress Gal Gadot is set to make history next year as she becomes the first Israeli actor to be honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The Hollywood Chamber

of Commerce announced this monumental achievement on Monday, much to the excitement of Gadot and her fans.

Expressing her gratitude and humility, Gadot remarked, "This is unbelievable. I'm so, so grateful and thankful and humbled." The 38-year-old actress, originally from Petah Tikva, joins a prestigious group of 31 entertainment professionals whose names will be immortalized along Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Streets in Los Angeles, California. The Walk of Fame currently boasts 2,789 stars.

Gadot's co-star from the "Wonder Woman" franchise, Chris Pine, will also be receiving a star. The 2024 list of honorees includes several notable names such as Eugene Levy, Dr. Dre, Otis Redding, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Billie Jean King.

In an Instagram video, Gadot shared her surprise at the news, revealing that she learned about it from her husband Jaron Varsano, who had heard it from Israeli media. She admitted, "I had absolutely no idea."

Just last month, Gadot received an honor from the Israeli-American Council (IAC) and Israel's Consulate in Los Angeles during the official celebration for Israel's 75th anniversary. Expressing her deep connection to Israel, she stated, "Israel is my heart and my home. We all here are deeply proud of our Jewish homeland. This celebration is a testament to our unity, our strength."

Fans can look forward to seeing Gadot in upcoming projects such as the spy thriller "Heart of Stone," which is set to release on Netflix in August, and the highly anticipated film "Snow White," scheduled for theatrical release in March 2024.
