Authorities in Washington are offering rewards of up to $20,000 for information regarding a series of explosive attacks that occurred over the weekend. The Metropolitan Police Department

(MPD) reported that the incidents took place within a 15-minute timeframe early Sunday morning, resulting in damage to several businesses. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

The attacks involved the detonation of explosive devices on a sidewalk near an ATM at Truist Bank, in front of a Nike store, and the throwing of a "Molotov cocktail style object" at a Safeway store. The targeted establishments were closed at the time of the incidents, and it does not appear that the suspect intended to harm members of the public.

The MPD, in collaboration with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the attacks. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities have released an image of one of the suspects and a vehicle believed to be connected to the incidents.

Law enforcement agencies are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward and assist in the investigation. The rewards serve as an incentive for individuals to provide valuable leads that could help identify and apprehend the perpetrators behind these acts of violence.
