Former President Donald Trump appeared for his arraignment in Washington, DC, facing charges related to his alleged efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. This marks his third
indictment since leaving office in January 2021.
At the courthouse, a crowd of Trump supporters and protestors gathered, reflecting the ongoing interest in his legal proceedings. During the arraignment, Trump, dressed in his signature navy blue suit and red tie, responded hesitantly when asked to state his age, saying, "Seven-seven. 77."
Judge Moxila Upadhyaya then inquired about any medications or factors that might impair Trump's ability to respond, to which he replied that there were none.
Seated between his attorneys, John Lauro and Todd Blanche, the former president maintained a serious demeanor as he stood up at the defense table, met the judge's gaze, and entered a not-guilty plea to all four charges.
As part of the release conditions, Trump is prohibited from communicating with witnesses in the case, except through counsel or in their presence.
Before the arraignment, Trump underwent the booking process, which included digital fingerprinting. However, he was not subjected to a mug shot.
