Tiger Woods has officially announced his entry into the 2023 Hero World Challenge at Albany in the Bahamas, marking his return to competitive golf. Woods had been sidelined since his
withdrawal from the 2023 Masters due to surgery. Recent social media videos showing him caddying for his son, Charlie, without any noticeable discomfort had sparked speculation about his comeback.
Hosted by Woods and his TGR Ventures, the Hero World Challenge is an exclusive event featuring 20 top-tier players, including Scottie Scheffler, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Max Homa, Rickie Fowler, Viktor Hovland, and Collin Morikawa. Last season, Woods was absent from the tournament due to plantar fasciitis in his right foot. Photo by KA Sports Photos from Hanover, MD, USA, Wikimedia commons.
