According to the airline, Delta Air Lines, a flight from Detroit to Amsterdam was diverted to Boston due to an unruly passenger on board. Delta Flight 134 was diverted to Boston Logan
International Airport just before 9 p.m. on Friday where law enforcement met the plane and removed the disruptive passenger.
The airline expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers and crew members, stating that unruly behavior on their aircraft is not tolerated. However, Delta did not provide details on the nature of the passenger's disruption, but explained that such diversions are standard procedure in similar circumstances.
The Massachusetts Port Authority, which operates the airport, referred all inquiries about the incident to the state police. However, as of Sunday, the police said they had no information regarding the case.
