A judge has thrown out the lawsuit filed against Lady Gaga by Jennifer McBride, who was allegedly connected to the theft of Gaga's French Bulldogs and the shooting of her dog walker.
McBride had sued Gaga for the unpaid $500,000 reward after turning in the stolen dogs. However, the judge ruled that McBride was not eligible for the reward due to her plea of no contest to a charge of receiving stolen property, which made her an accessory to the crime. McBride was also romantically involved with the father of one of the thieves. The lawsuit may still be amended within 20 days, but it is unlikely to proceed given McBride's conviction.
