Former President Donald Trump is set to unveil $70 billion in new investments focused on artificial intelligence and energy during a visit to Pennsylvania on Tuesday, according to a
Bloomberg report.
Trump will outline the initiatives at an event near Pittsburgh, appearing alongside Republican Senator David McCormick, who is hosting the inaugural Pennsylvania Energy and Innovation Summit at Carnegie Mellon University.
The investments — contributed by various companies — will cover projects such as the construction of new data centers, upgrades to power generation and grid infrastructure, and the launch of AI workforce training programs and apprenticeships.
The summit is expected to gather around 60 business leaders from the AI and energy sectors. Among the high-profile attendees: BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, Palantir CEO Alex Karp, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, ExxonMobil CEO Darren Woods, and Chevron CEO Mike Wirth.
